There’s a blizzard coming!

Ahem. Hello, blogosphere.

I feel a lot of pressure to write something profound, witty, original, etc. I’m not sure who exactly I think is expecting these qualities, but they’re going to be severely disappointed, I feel. It’s just me. But I’ll try to be interesting. I like to think that I have a unique point of view, and perhaps this will help me express it. Cross your fingers!

I used to have a livejournal, back in the day. I kept it for almost 5 years and wrote in it almost every day for those 5 years. It got to the point where I was thinking about my day in terms of the witty LJ entry I was going to write about it. When I moved here in September, I deleted it, with the hopes of living my life for the sake of living it and not for the sake of having something to tell the internet. But my two good friends here started blogs, and I got the itch. I hope this turns into something at least slightly more mature than my livejournal was. My good intentions have to count for something!

However, the silliness on my blogroll and the fact that I am about to write an entry about my kitten might lead one to believe that I am less than mature and sophisticated. Oh well.
